Desiree Hartsock & Chris Siegfried
Date: January 18
Bachelorette alum Desiree Hartsock married Chris Siegfried in a custom one-shoulder lace wedding dress by Maggie Sottero. The couple wed in a church in Palos Verdes, California and held the reception at the Redondo Beach Historic Library, where apparently everyone was dancing the night away. Hartsock, who designed her own wedding dress line with Maggie Sottero, wore another Sottero creation for the after party. We love to see the Bachelor and Bachelorette love stories come true!
Amber Heard & Johnny Depp
Date: February 7
Depp and Heard said “I do” in an intimate, romantic beach wedding on Depp’s private island, Little Hall’s Pond Cay, in the Bahamas. The small wedding party and guests were treated to a relaxing weekend in paradise before the stunning Saturday ceremony. Heard wore a floor length, long sleeve gown and veil, flanked by her bridesmaids who were lovely in mauve pastel. The ever-chic Heard accessorized with a gorgeous set of mixed metal wedding and engagement rings.
Benedict Cumberbatch & Sophie Hunter
Date: February 14
The Sherlock actor wed theater*RE director Sophie Hunter at in a very traditional Valentine’s Dayceremony wedding. The couple exchanged vows at the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, a medieval church dating back to the 12th century in Mottistone, England, located on the Isle of Wight (where Queen Victoria and Prince Albert had a summer home!). The reception was held at the Mottistone Manor, an estate once owned by the Nicholson family, to whom Hunter is related, and that dates back to the 11th century. Hunter looked breathtaking in a Valentino maternity dress (she was still pregnant with their baby boy). The affair was elegant and very private, just as Cumberbatch and Hunter intended.
Nikki Reed & Ian Somerhalder
Date: April 26
The Twilight Saga’s Nikki Reed and The Vampire Diaries’s dreamy Ian Somerhalder said “I do” after nine months of dating at a small sunset ceremony in Santa Monica, California. The affair was rustic and romantic, nothing too over-the-top, helping Reed and Somerhalder stand out in their romantic white wedding attire. Notable guests include Glee triple-threat Lea Michele and her model beau, Matthew Paetz
Amy Adams & Darren Le Gallo
Date: May 2
Adams and Le Gallo finally married this Spring after a 7 year engagement. The couple met in acting school and have been together for 14 years! We don’t know much about the wedding, as they, too, had an intimate, no-photos-please gathering, but Adams definitely wore a Marchesa wedding dress that she adores, and we have to assume their 5-year-old daughter, Aviana, was there.
Mila Kunis & Ashton Kutcher
Date: July 4
That ’70s Show cuties, Kunis and Kutcher, also wed under the radar this year. The two actors met playing teenage love interests on the popular sitcom (Ashton was Mila’s first kiss!) and finally tied the knot this year. They held a ceremony their wedding at The Secret Garden at Parrish Ranch in Oak Glen, California—the perfect, secluded spot for the low-key, outdoorsy couple.
Nicky Hilton & James Rothschild
Date: July 10
Now this is what we call a royal wedding—heiress and designer Nicky Hilton married banking heirJames Rothschild this Summer in the most stunning wedding we’ve seen in along time. Hilton was beyond gorgeous in a Valentino couture wedding dress, complete with a high neck and long sleeves embellished with giupure lace—oh, and a 10-foot train! The couple exchanged vows at Kensington Palace in London for a truly elegant English affair.
Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux
Date: August 5
Aniston and Theroux finally tied the knot in an extremely private backyard ceremony at their home in Bel Air. The gorgeous duo pulled off the marriage hoodwinking of the season, exchanging vows in complete secrecy. Even A-list celebrity guests, like Ellen Degeneres, showed up to the event thinking it was just a house party and had to turn in all cell phones. According to guests, singer Sia performed and the couple was elated to escape the spot-light for once and enjoy their beautiful day. And while we are very happy for them, we’re still selfishly awaiting all the details!
Allison Williams & Ricky Van Veen
Date: September 19
Williams and Van Veen snuck away to the Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming for their star-studded wedding this Fall. We’re talking Katy Perry, Lena Dunham and Bruce Springsteen. Also in attendance was the great Tom Hanks, who officiated the ceremony! The Girls star looked swoon-worthy in a custom Oscar de la Renta gown wedding dress, of which the actress thankfully posted pics onInstagram. The rural mountain setting was the perfect backdrop or her lacy romantic look.
Whitney Port & Tim Rosenman
Date: November 7
After an Instagram fake out or two, Port and Rosenman tied the knot for real in Palm Springs, California after a two year engagement. The former Hills star looked equal parts chic and elegant in a custom designed high-low wedding dress by Ashi Studio, set off by the rough terrain and unique desert vegetation. Rosenman’s sleek and handsome blue tuxedo was the perfect compliment. Wedding details are still very much under wraps, but we’re pretty sure Port’s sister, a pro wedding planner, had a hand in the affair.
Sofia Vergara & Joe Manganiello

Vergara and Manganiello’s all-out, Palm Beach, Florida bash was anything but intimate—and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! The Modern Family actress married the Magic Mike XXL stud after a weekend of parties, pool-side lounging, dancing, and lots and lots of cake! Vergara, who’s very detail oriented, pulled out all the stops for the celebrations, including rose covered rehearsal dinner tables, a five-layer wedding cake and two custom {wedding} dresses—a pearl-pink minidress for the rehearsal dinner, and a convertible, white strapless silk-tulle mermaid gown for the wedding. Famous guests included Reese Witherspoon and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (and that’s just a taste!). This was one wedding we would have loved to attend!
